COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
The Inter-Organizational/Community Activity Committee responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with civic organizations that promotes and support similar objectives of the organization: programs in the telecommunications industry, education, minority business development, and interaction and development of community within the communities we serve. The Corporation will fulfill that purpose by providing workshops, lectures, forums, and other beneficial programs that will address such issues as personal development, professional interaction, education, scholarship and career development, amongst others.

Membership Program
This committee is responsible for recruiting and maintaining membership. It provides venues for the membership to engage.

Education Programs
Education Programs - are responsible for educating CITE-VA in areas that will enhance their career, professional and personal development.
Diversity Initiatives
Diversity Initiatives are designed to assist Verizon with implementation of diversity initiatives identified at the management level (VP and up), within the company.
Membership
Volunteerism and VZ-squared - are programs that allow members of the organization to give time and money to not-for-profit organzations in the community. Verizon will donate $500 to a qualified organization, to two organizations per employee, for a 50 hours of volunteer service the employee gives to that organization CITE Virginia has identified several volunteer organizations for members.
