CITE's purpose is supported by its goals: to act as a clearinghouse for issues affecting African American employees, issues that often have national implications; to serve as an official interface or focus group with top management in Verizon; to provide a formal support system for management, non management and potential employees of color; to be a liaison to other minority organizations in Verizon. CITE's goals and objectives are consistent with those of Verizon for whom CITE members work. The objectives are carefully monitored and adjusted, as necessary, to reflect the aspirations of the business. CITE's agenda and its membership are ambitious!
